For most travellers with a carry-on or one suitcase, the train is the most predictable: AREX to Gimpo Airport, then Line 9 to Eonju. It avoids road traffic and costs a fraction of a taxi. If you have heavy luggage or arrive exhausted, a limousine bus or taxi is easier.

How do I take the train from Incheon to Eonju?

The train route has one transfer at Gimpo Airport and one possible change at Sinnonhyeon. Here it is step by step:

  1. Get a T-money card at an airport convenience store and load it with won.
  2. Ride the AREX all-stop train(not the Express, which runs non-stop to Seoul Station) to Gimpo International Airport Station.
  3. Transfer to Line 9, following the gold signs toward Jungang Bohun Hospital (VHS Medical Center).
  4. Ride toward Gangnam. An express train reaches Sinnonhyeon in roughly 35 minutes; a local train takes longer but stops at Eonju.
  5. Change to a local train at Sinnonhyeon if you rode the express, and go one stop to Eonju. Express trains do not stop at Eonju.
  6. Leave by Exit 3. The COWAY Building at 606 Nonhyeon-ro is directly in front of you, and Lucid Dental is on the 3rd and 4th floors.

If you miss the Eonju stop on an express, simply get off at Seonjeongneung, the next express station, and ride a local train back one stop.

Which airport bus goes closest to Eonju Station?

No limousine bus stops at Eonju itself, but two routes stop close by:

  • Bus 6020 ends its Seoul route at Yeoksam Station on Line 2, less than 1 km in a straight line from the clinic, or roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk.
  • Bus 6009 stops at Sinnonhyeon Station, about the same distance to the west. From there, ride Line 9 one stop east to Eonju.
