A valid passport and an online arrival card. Canadians do not need a visa to visit South Korea for tourism, and the Government of Canada's travel advice confirms that Canadians are exempt from K-ETA until December 31, 2026.

During the exemption, all travellers must submit an entry declaration, which can be done online through the e-Arrival system within three days before arrival. Is a trip worth it for one implant?

Sometimes, but do the maths honestly. Using the ranges above, the fee difference for one implant is roughly CA$2,400 to CA$5,500 before travel costs.

Now subtract return airfare, accommodation, meals and time off work. Because most implants need two trips, one for placement and one for the crown, travel costs usually apply twice. For a single implant, the savings may be modest once everything is counted. The numbers tend to look better when several teeth are treated, when veneers or crowns can be completed in one stay, or when you are already planning to visit Korea. Does the Canadian Dental Care Plan cover treatment in Korea?

No. The CDCP administrator, Sun Life, states that a CDCP client may travel abroad but cannot claim oral health services from a provider outside Canada, regardless of whether it is an emergency or a regular check-up.
